Students shared their research, learnings, and artwork with a committee of three representatives from local organizations. The representatives offered great feedback on what currently matters to each of their organizations. Of particular interest and consern was the issue of climate change, and how Minuteman National Park will be impacted over time. The park recently brought on an environmental scientist to adequately document the current health of the park. We discussed the potential for an artist to work alongside the scientist to create interdisciplinary works of art.

In attendance:

Michelle Blees, Park Ranger, Interpretive Operations, Minute Man National Park

Susanah Howland, Art Committee Chair, Concord Art

Leah Walczak, Director of Education & Public Programs, Concord Museum
